Air Jordan 4 Midnight Navy was released late last year in 2022, but I finally managed to hit on a recent restock!
It’s a new Air Jordan 4 model colorway but a versatile, easy-to-wear pair that is a worthy alternative to the “White Cement” 4.
Alright, let’s talk about the details of the Air Jordan 4 Midnight Navy today. In this post, we’ll cover everything you want to know, from its materials to how it feels when you put it on! Just get started!
How Much Does Air Jordan 4 Midnight Navy Cost? Is It Worth?
The short answer is: Yes, it’s worth it.
Jordan 4 Midnight Navy dropped on October 29, 2022. These babies retailed for $210, which is the normal price for Jordan 4s these days.
Anyway, the kicks will totally be worth buying for two reasons.
What’s the first reason? Well, the kicks look really cool when you wear them right.
Now, you’ll be interested in the other reason if you’re into reselling. On the secondhand market, these shoes are worth about $363 each. That means you’ll make more than $150 per pair. Just think about how much you’ll make if you cop in bulk.
The Materials of Air Jordan 4 Midnight Navy
The AJ 4 Midnight Navy is a version of Michael Jordan’s fourth signature shoe. It is based on the shoe’s iconic “White Cement” style.
The Jordan 4 “Midnight Navy” has the same color scheme as the “White Cement,” but the red accents on the shoe have been replaced with navy ones. The midsole’s front is midnight navy, while the back is splattered grey! Looks pretty cool!
The upper is made from white leather, while the tongue and center panel feature mesh detailing in the same color scheme.
But Air Jordan 4s has a common problem: its leather is easy to crack. So, to make it last longer, avoid soaking water and exposure to the sun.
Plastic lace bands in Air Jordan 4 Midnight Navy can be found on the collar and the throat.
Signature “Cement” details from the Jordan 4 can be seen on the “Wings” tabs, the mudguard, the Jumpman logo, and the “Air” heel counter. And the visible Air cushion at the heel completes the design.
Although understated, the Air Jordan 4 Midnight Navy is a classy version.
On-Feet Review
They do fit true to size, so make sure to order whatever size you normally wear with your Air Jordan 4s. However, you might consider going up half a size if you have wide feet. This is because the shoe can be tight around the pinky toe, which can cause discomfort.
Fit on these, I go up half a size or sometimes a full size. In this case, I got the size 11, the same as my Fire Red, which is a size 11. The extra support from the padding around the ankle and tongue makes me feel safe on my feet.
In terms of build, it doesn’t have any flaws. In my opinion, I don’t see one, so I do think this one is a perfect pair. The outsole provides excellent traction. I have worn these shoes for several weeks now, and they still look and feel like new.
And I’d give this a 7 out of 10 in terms of quality. The matching of Navy and gray just really works. No offense to the black cement, although this one pretty much looks like that. This one is a sneaker of its own. But for obvious reasons, if you missed out on the OG Jordan 4 white cement, this one is not a bad replacement.
When it comes to comfort, the Air Jordan 4 Midnight Navy really makes a statement. The shoe has a cushioning system with an Air-Sole unit in the heel, making it more flexible and good at absorbing shock. These sneakers have a soft and supportive fit, so you can wear them to the basketball court or just go about your daily life.
For me, it’s definitely one of those pairs that will shoot up over time.
Overall, I’m happy with the shoes, and I’m happy with the price I paid.
Where Can I Get the Air Jordan 4 Midnight Navy Now?
Are you looking to cop a pair of Air Jordan 4 Midnight Navy? No problem, you can get it in a couple of ways.
- Official Nike Website: The official Nike website is a reliable source to buy the Air Jordan 4 Midnight Navy. Some sizes may be sold out, but you can check them out.
- Sneaker Retailers: Check out reputable sneaker retailers like Foot Locker, Finish Line, or Champs Sports. These retailers usually have a lot of sizes, and they might have special deals or sales that no one else does. You can try on shoes when you shop at physical stores, ensuring they fit right.
- Online Marketplaces: For example, StockX, GOAT, or eBay. These platforms connect buyers and sellers, allowing you to get the Air Jordan 4 Midnight Navy from individual sellers. The benefit is that you can find new and used pairs with sizes sold out elsewhere. But there is a risk of buying fake goods.
- Mystery box platforms: Have you never thought of getting it this way? Actually, some mystery box platforms have Air Jordan 4 Midnight Navy in their offerings. The Miracle Box I’ve played with before has many sneakers in it, including the Air Jordan 4 Midnight Navy. Sneaker mystery boxes cost between $4.99 and $19.99 to draw once. And I won a pair of Supreme x Air Force 1 when I drew that $9.99 sneaker box about a dozen times!
- Local Sneaker Boutiques: Check out the shoe shops in your area. These smaller stores often have limited-edition items but may not always have them in stock.
Final Words
This Air Jordan 4 Midnight Navy is one of my favorite pairs of Air Jordan’s! Maybe not the best in many ways, but it is definitely a masterpiece of overall excellence
